One blood test for many cancers: can it save lives?

Summary
This large UK trial is testing whether a new blood test called Galleri can help find cancers at an earlier, more treatable stage. About 140,000 people aged 50-77 are participating. Half will get the test along with their usual NHS care, while the other half will have their blood stored for later comparison, to see if the test leads to fewer late-stage cancer diagnoses.
