Summary
This study tested whether using a green dye (indocyanine green) during gallbladder removal surgery helps surgeons see bile ducts better than the standard X-ray method. The goal was to reduce the risk of bile duct injury and shorten surgery time. The study involved 156 adults with acute gallstone cholecystitis who needed laparoscopic gallbladder removal.
