Researchers seek clues to fertility challenges in rare metabolic disorder

NCT ID NCT07461519

Summary

This study aims to better understand how classic galactosemia affects puberty and ovarian function in girls. Researchers will observe 60 Italian girls with the condition, tracking their growth, hormone levels, and development. The goal is to identify factors linked to early ovarian decline and gather information to help manage future fertility.
