Hidden walking problems in early MS revealed by High-Tech gait tests
NCT ID NCT07580820
First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how people with early-stage multiple sclerosis (MS) adjust their walking to sudden changes, like obstacles or uneven surfaces. Researchers will compare 32 adults with MS to healthy adults using special treadmills and brain activity monitors. The goal is to find better ways to measure walking problems that standard tests miss, which could lead to improved fall prevention and rehabilitation.
