First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether it is possible to start feeding newborn babies with gastroschisis (a condition where the intestines are outside the belly) soon after surgery. Researchers will enroll 20 infants to see if parents agree to the study and if the feeding plan can be followed. The goal is to gather information to improve nutrition and recovery for these babies.
