Pain relief showdown: which drug works better after surgery?

NCT ID NCT07267182

Summary

This study compared two common pain medications—gabapentin and diclofenac sodium—to see which works better for pain relief after major abdominal surgery. Researchers followed 240 adults who had elective abdominal operations, measuring their pain levels after receiving one of the two drugs. The goal was to help doctors choose the most effective pain management option for patients recovering from surgery.
