First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at how a brain chemical called GABA affects balance and the way we process multiple senses (like sight and sound) as we age. Researchers will compare healthy older adults (ages 65-80) with younger adults (ages 20-35) using cognitive training and brain scans. The goal is to understand age-related changes and develop safer rehabilitation methods for older adults.
