Summary

This early-stage study tests the safety of a new gene therapy (GA) for people with severe nerve pain that hasn't improved with standard treatments. The therapy involves a one-time injection into a brain area that processes pain, combined with a pill to activate the treatment. Only 6 adults aged 18-65 with conditions like diabetic nerve pain or trigeminal neuralgia will take part.
