New study checks if older breast cancer patients are getting the right care

Summary
This study follows 200 breast cancer patients aged 70 and older who are starting a treatment that combines CDK4/6 inhibitors with hormone therapy. The goal is to see how well these patients tolerate the treatment and how it affects their quality of life. Researchers will also test simple geriatric screening tools to help doctors make better treatment decisions for older adults.
