Can imagining your future help you quit smoking?
NCT ID NCT05825001
Summary
This study is testing whether a technique called 'episodic future thinking' can help people smoke fewer cigarettes. Participants who smoke at least 10 cigarettes a day and want to quit are asked to vividly imagine positive events that could happen in their future. Researchers will measure changes in smoking by checking carbon monoxide levels in their breath.
