New imaging trick may speed up stroke treatment

Summary

This study tests whether a 3D image overlay (fusion imaging) helps doctors reach and remove blood clots in the brain faster during a standard stroke procedure. About 300 adults having emergency clot removal will be randomly assigned to get the extra imaging or not. The goal is to see if fusion imaging leads to more successful and quicker clot removal.
