New injection method for common drug tested
NCT ID NCT07269496
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the body processes a new, slower under-the-skin (subcutaneous) injection of the diuretic furosemide, compared to the standard fast IV injection. It involved 13 healthy volunteers who received both versions of the drug in a specific order. The main goal was to measure how much of the drug gets into the bloodstream with the new method.
