Doctors hunt clues in decade of deadly graft infections
NCT ID NCT07143409
Summary
This study looks back at 10 years of medical records from 12 French hospitals to learn about rare but serious fungal infections that occur on artificial blood vessels (vascular grafts). Researchers will analyze 300 past cases to understand how these infections happened, how they were treated, and what factors led to better or worse outcomes for patients. The goal is to gather knowledge that can help guide future treatment decisions for this dangerous condition.
