First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether an eight-week functional training program helps adolescent table tennis players improve their speed, balance, and overall fitness. Thirty players aged 12-18 were split into three groups: functional training, conventional training, or their usual routine. Researchers measured flexibility, agility, speed, jump height, and balance before, during, and after the program to see which approach worked best.
