New drug duo targets rare kidney cancer in early trial

Summary

This study tests two drugs, fruquintinib and serplulimab, as the first treatment for people with a rare type of kidney cancer that has spread or cannot be removed. The goal is to see if the combination can shrink tumors or slow the disease. About 39 adults with no prior treatment for advanced disease will take part.
