Can a fruit & veggie breakfast make kids smarter?
NCT ID NCT06560359
Summary
This study tested whether eating more fruits and vegetables could improve children's thinking skills, mood, and attention. Researchers in Shanghai gave 251 children aged 7-11 a daily breakfast with extra fruits and vegetables for 12 weeks and compared them to a group that did not get the extra produce. The main goal was to see if this dietary change led to measurable improvements in cognitive test scores and other mental and behavioral outcomes.
