Could your groceries replace kidney pills? new trial investigates
NCT ID NCT05113641
Summary
This study is testing if home-delivered fruits and vegetables can help manage acid buildup in people with chronic kidney disease, as an alternative to standard medication. It will enroll 40 adults with moderate kidney disease and mild acidosis to see if this dietary approach is practical and acceptable. The main goal is to determine if a larger, definitive trial is feasible.
