Fruit powders show promise in lowering blood sugar
NCT ID NCT07233460
Summary
This study tested whether daily powders made from bitter melon, blueberry, or cranberry could help people manage type 2 diabetes. For 12 weeks, 120 participants took one of the powders alongside their regular medication. The results showed the powders helped lower long-term blood sugar levels (HbA1c), reduced diabetes symptoms, and led to some weight loss compared to those who didn't take a powder.
