Fruit on trial: can a simple dietary change tame diabetes?
NCT ID NCT07376226
Summary
This study aims to clear up confusion about whether eating fruit is good or bad for people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will feed 25 adults with type 2 diabetes (who are not on insulin) a diet high in whole fruit for 17 weeks. They will closely monitor changes in blood sugar levels, liver fat, and heart disease risk factors to see if the fruit helps improve their health.
