First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a gentle nerve stimulation (tVNS) to standard exercise therapy can reduce pain and improve movement in people with frozen shoulder. Forty adults aged 40-65 with shoulder stiffness will receive either real or fake tVNS during 6 weeks of supervised rehab. Researchers will measure pain, function, and satisfaction to see if the nerve stimulation provides extra relief.
