Is physical therapy worth the cost for frozen shoulder?
NCT ID NCT02283996
Summary
This study aims to find out if adding physical therapy to standard steroid injections provides better results for frozen shoulder than injections followed by watchful waiting. Researchers will enroll 260 adults with frozen shoulder and randomly assign them to one of these two standard care approaches. The main goal is to see if the extra cost and effort of physical therapy leads to significantly better shoulder function and pain relief one year later.
