Does your Brain's pain setting affect shoulder treatment?

NCT ID NCT07124689

Summary

This study aimed to understand if a person's general pain sensitivity, called central sensitization, influences how well a standard steroid injection works for frozen shoulder. Researchers followed 87 adults with frozen shoulder who received the injection. They measured pain sensitivity before treatment and tracked pain levels and shoulder function afterward to see if there was a connection.
