First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested the safety of a new spray-dried plasma called FrontlineODP in 24 healthy volunteers. Participants received increasing doses (1, 2, or 4 units) and were compared to those receiving standard frozen plasma (PF24). The goal was to see if the product causes side effects and how it affects blood clotting. This research helps develop a portable plasma product for treating severe bleeding in emergencies.
