New pill could help severe asthma sufferers breathe easier

Summary

This study tests a new drug called frevecitinib (KN-002) in 512 adults with severe asthma that is not well controlled by their current treatments. Participants will take one of three doses of the drug or a placebo daily for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug improves lung function and asthma control.
