First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether Fresnel prism glasses, a low-cost non-invasive tool, can improve vision, balance, walking, and daily living skills in people recovering from a stroke. Fifty adults who had a stroke on the right side of the brain and have left-sided neglect will either get the glasses plus standard physical therapy or just therapy alone. Researchers will measure changes in visual perception, balance, walking patterns, and independence over time.
