Could freezing a nerve ease diabetic foot pain?

Summary
This study is testing if a procedure that freezes a specific nerve can reduce chronic pain caused by diabetic neuropathy in the foot. 30 adult participants with diabetes and daily foot pain will be randomly assigned to receive either the real freezing procedure or a sham (fake) procedure. The main goal is to see if pain levels are lower one month after the real procedure compared to before it.
