First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study follows 700 people with Parkinson's disease or similar conditions who experience freezing of gait—a sudden inability to move their feet while walking. Researchers will collect information from routine doctor visits over three years, including walking tests and questionnaires. The goal is to better understand what causes freezing, how it changes over time, and how to predict falls, but no new treatments are being tested.
