Hold your breath for hay fever? study tests diver training for allergy relief
NCT ID NCT07455968
Summary
This study tested whether a special breathing training program, inspired by free divers, could help reduce symptoms in adults with allergic rhinitis (hay fever). Thirty young adults were split into two groups: one practiced the breathing exercises, while the other continued their normal routine. Researchers measured changes in nasal symptoms, breathing ability, and lung strength to see if the training made a difference.
