NCT ID NCT07272538

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looked at whether two easy-to-use frailty checklists (FRAIL and FiND) can predict serious side effects from chemotherapy in people aged 65 and older with cancers of the stomach, colon, pancreas, or esophagus. Researchers followed 84 patients who had already had surgery and were starting standard chemotherapy. The goal was to see if frailer patients were more likely to have severe side effects, which could help doctors personalize treatment and reduce harm.
