Rural vs. urban: does where you live affect your surgery recovery?

NCT ID NCT05694338

Summary

This study aims to understand if cancer patients from rural areas are more likely to be frail before major surgery compared to those from cities. Researchers will survey 100 patients, take a small blood sample, and review medical records to see if frailty scores predict who has more problems after their operation. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future patient care, not to test a new treatment.
