First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests a program called INFA, where nurses check frail older adults (65+) for issues like mobility, memory, and nutrition soon after they are admitted to the hospital. Based on the check, a personal care plan is created to help them recover and avoid losing independence. The goal is to see if this approach improves daily living skills and reduces return trips to the hospital.
