Scientists hunt for early warning signs of frailty in aging blood
NCT ID NCT02816580
Summary
This study aimed to find new blood markers that could help identify frailty in older adults before it leads to serious decline. Researchers analyzed blood samples from 254 participants aged 65 and older to measure specific proteins linked to aging. The goal was to create a better tool for spotting frailty early, so doctors could recommend preventive steps to help people stay independent longer.
