Could a simple frailty test predict dangerous blood pressure drops during surgery?
NCT ID NCT07351552
Summary
This study aims to understand if a person's level of frailty can predict a dangerous drop in blood pressure after they are given anesthesia for surgery. Researchers will observe 80 older adults having planned surgery to see if those who are frail are more likely to experience this common complication. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors better assess surgical risks for elderly patients.
