First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study involved 970 older adults (65+) who could walk without help. Researchers used gait analysis, strength tests, and questionnaires to understand frailty and its links to physical activity. The goal was to identify factors that protect against or increase the risk of frailty, and to suggest non-drug treatments to delay loss of independence.
