Brain wave study tests drugs for genetic disorder

NCT ID NCT05418049

Summary

This study is testing single doses of three existing medications—baclofen, roflumilast, and memantine—to see if they can improve brain activity and behavior in adults with Fragile X Syndrome. Researchers will measure changes in brain waves and ask caregivers about symptoms after participants take one dose. The goal is to see if any of these drugs might help control the challenges of this genetic condition.
