First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a newer nausea medicine, fosaprepitant, works better than the standard treatment, metoclopramide, for people in the emergency room. About 212 adults with nausea or vomiting will get one of the two drugs, and researchers will check how well symptoms improve within 2 hours. The goal is to find a more effective option for fast relief.
