First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a forward-viewing endoscope finds more important digestive problems than the usual side-viewing scope during ERCP. About 163 adults having ERCP for standard reasons took part. Each person had two back-to-back exams with different scopes, and doctors recorded any findings that would change patient care.
