New foot wedge therapy aims to stop Parkinson's falls
NCT ID NCT07334847
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special wedge under the front of the foot during balance training can help people with Parkinson's disease walk more steadily. Thirty participants with moderate Parkinson's will do physical therapy, with half also using the wedge and a special balance machine. The goal is to see if this combination improves balance, walking, and muscle control better than standard therapy alone.
