Ancient foot therapy tested against modern chemo side effects
NCT ID NCT03508180
Summary
This study tested whether foot reflexology, a type of massage, could help reduce the severe nausea and vomiting caused by certain chemotherapy drugs in patients with lung or digestive system cancers. Researchers enrolled 80 patients to compare those who received reflexology with those who did not. The main goal was to see if this complementary therapy could improve patients' comfort and quality of life during their cancer treatment.
