Can a foot massage calm your nerves? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07161102

Summary

This study is testing whether foot reflexology—a type of massage targeting specific points on the feet—can help reduce anxiety symptoms. Researchers are comparing it to a sham (fake) foot massage in 44 adults diagnosed with anxiety. Participants receive 10 sessions over 5 weeks, and their anxiety levels are measured before, during, and after the treatment.
