First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding foot massage to standard cold therapy can reduce pain, improve satisfaction, and lower painkiller use in people who have had knee replacement surgery. Sixty adults will be randomly assigned to receive either cold therapy alone or cold therapy plus foot massage for two days after surgery. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach helps people feel better and recover more comfortably.
