Simple foot exercises shown to boost circulation for diabetics

NCT ID NCT07262203

Summary

This study tested whether a simple, at-home foot exercise program could improve blood flow in the legs of people with type 2 diabetes. Forty-four adults with diabetes were split into two groups: one did the special foot exercises daily for three months, while the other did their regular activities. The group doing the foot exercises showed a clear improvement in leg circulation, suggesting this is a helpful, low-cost way to manage a common diabetes complication.
