NCT ID NCT07582367
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how the shape of your foot arch relates to the way you walk and your thinking skills in older adults. Researchers will measure foot structure, walking speed and steps, and reaction time in 50 people aged 65 and older. The goal is to better understand these connections, which could help improve mobility and safety in later life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could reveal how foot structure relates to walking and thinking in older adults, pointing toward future fall-prevention or mobility strategies.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early observational study (50 participants) that only looks for relationships—it won't test any treatment. Results may not apply to everyone.
