App to fight diabetes: scan your food, lower your blood sugar

Summary
This study tests if a mobile app called FoodSwitch can help 900 Swedish adults with type 2 diabetes make better food choices. The app lets you scan barcodes to see easy-to-understand nutrition labels. Half of the participants will use the app plus get standard advice, while the other half only gets standard advice. The main goal is to see if the app helps lower blood sugar levels over 6 months.
