Summary
This study tested whether eating specially fortified food products daily for 9 weeks could reduce low-grade inflammation linked to heart disease and obesity. Researchers compared these foods to standard products in 62 adults with abdominal obesity. They measured many blood markers of inflammation and metabolism before and after the eating period.
