Can therapy plus food aid heal the hidden wounds of poverty?

NCT ID NCT07427524

Summary

This study aims to see if combining regular food assistance with psychological therapy is more effective than food aid alone for improving mental health and reducing hunger in vulnerable young adults. It will follow 70 young people in France who are experiencing significant food insecurity and psychological distress. Researchers will compare two groups over a year: one receiving just weekly food aid, and another receiving both food aid and bi-weekly therapy sessions.
