Summary
This study looks at whether providing monthly grocery gift cards for one year to low-income families can reduce food insecurity and lower the chance that a child needs to return to the hospital or emergency room. About 400 families with a child recently discharged from the hospital will take part. Half will receive the gift cards, and all will complete surveys over 18 months.
