Can grocery cards keep kids out of the hospital?
NCT ID NCT06560229
Summary
This study is testing if providing monthly grocery gift cards to low-income families for one year helps children recover better after leaving the hospital. Researchers want to see if this support reduces families' struggles to afford food and lowers the child's need for unplanned return visits to the emergency room or hospital. They will follow 400 families for 18 months to measure these outcomes.
