Grocery money vs. free delivery: which helps control diabetes better?
NCT ID NCT06061861
Summary
This study is testing whether providing monthly money for healthy groceries helps people with type 2 diabetes lower their blood sugar levels more than just offering free grocery delivery. It involves about 1,000 adults with Medi-Cal insurance who have high blood sugar and may struggle to afford healthy food. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either six months of grocery funds plus free delivery, or just free delivery, to see which approach leads to better diabetes control and fewer doctor visits.
