Can a pill cocktail curb cravings and fix cholesterol?
NCT ID NCT07269795
Summary
This study tested whether a specific combination of over-the-counter food supplements could help people feel fuller and improve their cholesterol and blood sugar levels. It involved 80 overweight adults over age 45, who were split into two groups: one took the supplement mix daily for 12 weeks, and the other took nothing. Researchers measured changes in cholesterol, weight, body fat, stress, and sleep quality to see if the supplements made a difference.
