Summary

This study aims to understand how eating different food combinations after exercise affects muscle repair and growth. Fifteen healthy, active young adults will perform a workout and then eat meals containing beef paired with either potato, bread, or eaten alone. Researchers will take small blood and muscle samples to measure how the body uses protein from these meals to build muscle.
